Dr. Jose Ramirez
Dr. Jose Ramirez is a Chicago native and board certified Chiropractic Physician. He earned his bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselear, Indiana. He also earned a certified clinical massage therapist degree from The Soma Institute in Chicago, IL. He became licensed in highly effective manual therapies such as myofascial release technique, before deciding to pursue his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in Lombard, Illinois.
As a former NCAA soccer player, Dr. Ramirez knows what it feels like when an injury takes time away from your passions. Because of his experience and his drive to help people return to what they love doing, he decided to deepen his understanding of physical medicine by pursuing a higher degree. During his time at NUHS, Dr. Ramirez also participated in various other seminars and trainings over the course of his studies with emphasis on rehabilitation, movement restoration, and biomechanics. Dr. Ramirez helps patients transform their health and regain/develop an active positive lifestyle. Through his caring and methodical evaluations, he thoroughly investigates the cause of conditions and develops an individual functional movement-based approach to help patients thrive and maintain optimal health.
He enjoys living a healthy lifestyle reading, playing soccer, and spending time with his family. Dr. Ramirez resides in Chicago with his wife, Ana.
